As a photo-based visual artist, my practice extends beyond traditional boundaries, weaving together diverse mediums to craft a rich and multi-faceted works. Stemming from the complexities of cultural history and identity, my work explores the nuances of ritualistic acts and symbolic motifs.

My work becomes a visual narrative that reflects the intricate layers of identity, rooted in the intersectionality I’ve experienced through much of my life. Through a synthesis of personal mementos, I strive to capture the structural quality of memories. Each piece intertwines family stories, personal experiences, and self-portraiture in a nuanced exploration of the self and its connections to broader narratives.

Through a range of materials and processes, from the delicate art of embroidery to printmaking techniques, I aim to elevate the sensory and emotional dimensions of my creations. My practice becomes a bridge between the personal and the overarching universal experience of existing, inviting contemplation on shared threads that connect us all.

Currently, my practice is in a state of transition, focusing on an exploration of both traditional and non-traditional materials.
